| Introduction | The Journal of History, NCCU has been a leading scholarly publication in the field of Taiwanese history since 1983. Initially published annually by the Department of History, NCCU, since 2004 the journal has been published half-yearly, in May and November. Each volume features a wide range of academic papers, research discussions and book reviews.The journal’s reviewing system ensures that all articles accepted for publication meet the high standards of the international academic community. Every year since 2006, the editorial costs of the publication have been subsidized by the Humanities Research Centre of the National Science Council. And in 2008 and 2009, it has been included in the Taiwan Humanities Citation Index Core (THCI CORE). |
